Okay, here's how things stand :
On the war;
We're winning. MoDo is whining.
On the politcal front;
Ted Kennedy lost his mind yesterday trying to filibuster Judge Alito. His breakdown ensures that this country will continue to trend conservative. Thanks Ted. Hello Justice Alito. Goodbye Hillary '08.
On the economy;
Dump all auto related stock and buy Catapillar. Lots of it.
On the cultural front;
* The Book of Daniel was canceled after three episodes.
* Commander In Chief is now on hiatus.
* The 5 films nominated today for an Oscar for Best Picture combined make up the 5 least grossing films in the history of Oscar Best Picture nominations. Like Cannes last year, the Academy decided to honor the agenda-driven films instead of the worthy ones. Goodnight Hollywood.
* More young people (over 50,000+) along with the mature adults (over 50,000+) marched on Washington for the 33rd anniversary of Roe v Wade to demand an end to abortion on demand. Like the t-shirts said, "Face It, It's A Baby, Baby."
For the concerned Catholics out there, here's where things stand. (Don't miss the link to J. Bottum's article on Alito and Catholics. J. Bottum is Andrew Cusack's future employer. Thanks to Diogenes.)
Thank you. Goodnight and as all the good Democrats love to say, God Bless America.
