I am much too busy this morning to think or write as the most serious Spring cleaning since the children arrived is underway in our home. Talk about self-actualization, determination, taking control of our family's future and master of my own sinking ship. Our ship, or home, is sinking under the weight of too many toys, clothes and thingamijiggys. Do you realise how much stuff the modern baby comes with these days? Absolutely amazing. Especially since babies don't need, or want about 85% of the stuff we think they do. They just want to be held, loved, and played with. The National Organization of Women, Betty Friedan, maybe even old Barbara Jordan would be so pleased with every powerful and well thought out decision of to save, donate or toss I will make, won't they?
Anyway, I only have time for a small anecdote this morning.
