ROMNEY: First of all, it's not worth getting angry about. Secondly, the...(applause) Secondly, 98 percent of the people have insurance. And so the idea that more people are free-riding the system is simply impossible. Half of those people got insurance on their own. Others got help in buying the insurance.
Look, I know you don't like the plan that we had. I don't like the Obama plan. His plan cuts Medicare by $500 billion. We didn't, of course, touch anything like that. He raises taxes by $500 billion. We didn't do that.
He wasn't interested in the 8 percent of the people that were uninsured. He was concerned about the 100 percent of the people of the country. "Obama-care" takes over health care for the American people.
If I'm president of the United States, I will stop it. And in debating Barack Obama, I will be able to show that I have passion and concern for the people in this country that need health care, like this young woman who asked the question.
First of all, saying "First of all, it's not worth getting angry about" isn't the winningest way to show your passion and concern for the people in this country that need health care. Secondly, 54% of Americans -not likely voters- in the latest poll from the Kaiser Foundation want the mandate repealed.
If I were the GOP establishment or bundlers, I'd be very, very concerned this morning. Despite your spin, Mitt didn't win the debate last night. Unless, of course, Mitt's wins like Charlie Sheen...
GO NEWT!

I would like to point out Newt's SUCCESSFUL defense of his Freddie Mac involvement: Advised Congress to vote No , paperwork describing him as a consultant unchallenged by Romney. Awkward moment regarding Romney's attack ad, and Newt defended successfully his conservative credentials and had good responses on immigration. The only thing Romney convinced me on is that Ann would make a great First Lady. Of course it was a gotcha question for Newt and he handled it beautifully as did the others. Newt DOES owe Santorum some gratitude. They BOTH took it to Romney the Robot.

Romney definitely took a few blows the other night. Ronney is surging in Florida but no where else. Could it be because he's outspending Newt by at least 3 to 1?
1/3 of the FLA voters had already voted by the South Carolina primary so the Establishment has little to fear from Newt. They should be concerned about their treatment (hint abuse) of the base and the tea partiers - another hint - do the Democrats ever openly criticize their great unwashed, I mean base? Has O or friends ever uttered a critical word against the welfare recipients, feminists or a Union member?
