I wonder, does this fusion confute or confirm Miss Austen’s third maxim: “One half of the world cannot understand the pleasures of the other”?

Mr. Peperium

Ah yes, it's that time of year again.

Time to put up the Jane Austen tree and start practicing our Jane Austen Day carols. Then I have to come down the chimney dressed as Mr. Darcy, and fall in love with Mrs. P all over again.

And after the children are asleep, there's the nude candle light reading of our favorite scenes from the Books of Jane. And after that all bets are pretty much off.

I find the holidays so tiring, don't you?

Mr. Peperium

Have a big piece of Jane Austen Day Strudel!

Mrs. Peperium

I am so unworthy of you.

Robbo

Oh, WELL done!

Old Dominion Tory

After reading your description of Jane Austen Day activities, gosh, don't we all wish that everyday was Jane Austen Day?!
